Family of 3 ID’D as Victims in Minnesota Triple Murder Case, Suspect Also Identified
Coon Rapids, MN (KROC-AM News)- Investigators have identified a family of three as the victims of a Minnesota triple murder case.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office released the identities of the victim and suspect Monday morning. The victims, previously described as two men and a woman, were found dead Friday afternoon at a home in Coon Rapids.
The victims have been identified as 42-year-old Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, 20-year-old Jorge Alexander Reyes-Jungwirth and 39-year-old Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada. Shannon and Mario were married and Jorge is Shannon’s son, according to a news release.
The victims are all residents of Coon Rapids. Early Saturday morning, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office announced the suspected killer was in custody.
He was identified Monday as 37-year-old Alonzo Pierre Mingo of Fridley. Authorities say Mingo has not yet been charged. He was arrested on Friday.
Investigators say two juveniles were inside of the Twin Cities home at the time of the alleged killings. They were unharmed.
Circumstances surrounding their deaths as well as the cause of deaths were not disclosed. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office and Coon Rapids Police Department are continuing to investigate the triple murder.
