
17-Year-Old Girl Killed, Teen Boy Among 3 Hospitalized After Minnesota Head-on Crash
Gaylord, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A teen motorist was killed and three others were injured in a head-on crash on a Minnesota highway.

At least two of the injuries are critical. The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly after 1:00 Saturday morning.
Two vehicles were involved in the fatal collision. Three people were riding in one of the vehicles and the driver was the lone occupant of the other vehicle.

The vehicles collided at the intersection of Hwy. 19 and 441st Ave. about 41 miles northwest of Mankato near Gaylord.
A car heading east on Hwy. 19 collided with a pick-up heading west on the two-lane highway, the state crash report says. It does not say which vehicle entered the oncoming lane.
17-year-old Mya Jean Maus of Henderson, MN was driving the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the State Patrol says.
A 17-year-old boy was driving the pick-up. The State Patrol indicates he was brought to a hospital in the Twin Cities. His name and an update on his condition have not been released.
50-year-old Andrew Dennis Cohrs of Glencoe, MN and Mitchel Randy Frauendienst of Winthrop, MN were identified as the passengers in the pick-up. Both suffered life-threatening injuries and were also brought to a Twin Cities hospital.
The state crash report indicates neither driver was under the influence of alcohol. It also says Maus was the only person buckled up.
