MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A house fire in north Minneapolis has left one person dead.

Firefighters arrived shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday to find the house in flames.

The Minneapolis Fire Department says firefighters found the victim and provided treatment, then called for an ambulance. The department confirmed the death an hour later.

The Star Tribune reports the fire was extinguished shortly after firefighters arrived. The
