Rochester Bridge Scheduled To Be Closed This Weekend

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester motorists will be affected by a bridge closure this weekend.

The city Public Works Dept. says the Elton Hills Drive Bridge will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic to allow space for consultants to conduct soil borings in advance of the design of a replacement bridge.

Pedestrian and bicycle access across the bridge will remain open.

The bridge is scheduled to be reconstructed in 2021.
