Rochester Man Burned by Boiling Water – Thrown by His Brother

A 26 year old Minneapolis man is expected to face charges after pouring boiling water on his brother during a visit to the victim’s Rochester apartment last night.  Police say the two got into an argument and the victim  - who is paraplegic - was on a bed when his brother grabbed a pan of boiling water and threw it at him.

The 31 year old victim suffered burns to his shoulder, back and arms.   He was later transferred to the burn unit at Regions Hospital in St. Paul where he was reported in fair condition this morning.

His brother - Ahmed Mohamud Olol - was arrested and is expected to be charged by tomorrow.
