Teenager killed in Dodge County wreck

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal traffic wreck that claimed the life of a teenager.

It happened around 12:45 yesterday afternoon on County Road 7 north of Dodge Center. A car driven by 22 year old Shyanne Jensen went out of control, left the roadway and hit a tree. Her passenger - 18 year old Guy Carlson - was killed. Jensen was taken to St. Mary’s where she was in good condition this morning. Both are from the Dodge Center area.

A young girl from east central Minnesota was killed late last night after she was struck by a car while riding her bike. The State Patrol says 7 year old Alyssa Grimm of Milaca was riding on a county road when she was hit around 10 o’clock. She was taken to a hospital where she later died.
