Body Found in Burning car Near Owatonna

Owatonna, MN (Learfield Wire Service) -- Steele County authorities are investigating a weekend incident in which a man's body was found inside a burning car.

The victim was discovered Sunday evening after firefighters put out the vehicle fire in a farm field just west of Owattona. Authorities have yet to name the person in the car or give the cause of death.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is assisting with the investigation.
