Pedestrian Killed Along Minnesota Highway
Spring Lake Park, MN (KROC-AM News)- A pedestrian was killed along a Twin Cities highway Saturday night.

The State Patrol responded to the fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision along Hwy. 47 at the intersection of 81st Ave. Northeast, which is about 10 miles north of Minneapolis. The deadly collision occurred shortly before 11 p.m.
The state crash report says the 57-year-old Minneapolis man was standing in the roadway when he was struck by a northbound sedan. The crash victim’s name has not been released.
The driver of the sedan, 29-year-old Crystal Kangas of Minneapolis and passenger, 28-year-old Stephanie Kangas of Coon Rapids, were not hurt. The State Patrol says alcohol was not involved in the deadly collision.
