Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester teenager has pleaded guilty to taking part in a recent brazen home invasion.

The case against Jomari Alexander was prosecuted in juvenile court. He was ordered to attend a juvenile offender treatment program and will be on probation until he turns 21. He will also have a 4 year prison sentence hanging over his head during that time which he would have to serve if he gets into trouble again.

The incident happened Aug 14, a few days before Alexander’s 17th birthday.

Police were told by the man and woman who live in the home four masked intruders were involved. The victims said two of the intruders confronted them and one pointed an apparent gun or taser at them. The intruders took a number of items and the woman’s purse. Police say it appears the intruders went to the wrong house looking for drugs.

One other man is facing charges in the case. The purse was found in his home.
