Rochester Teenager Hurt in Snowmobile Crash

A Rochester teenager was transported to Saint Marys Hospital Saturday afternoon after he was injured while snowmobiling in Fillmore County.The State Patrol says Jacob Petit was attempting to cross Highway 52 at the junction with Highway 16 just north of Preston shortly after 3 p.m. when his snowmobile collided with a southbound car. The State Patrol described Petit's injuries as non-life threatening, while the Waukon, Iowa man driving the car was not hurt.
