Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - There are now two people detained in the Wabasha County jail on attempted murder charges stemming from the baseball bat beatings of two people in Hammond.

30-year-old Elliott Glamm of Elgin was formally arraigned Friday in Wabasha County Court on two counts of first-degree attempted murder along with first and second-degree assault charges for his alleged involvement in the attacks on Monday. His conditional bail was set at $125,000.

A Millville man, 40-year-old Joshua Larson, was charged earlier this week. In addition to the attempted murder and assault charges, he is also facing a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Both men are accused of participating in the beatings of the two victims during a fight that broke out among a group of people at a campground. One of the victims suffered a broken jaw and cheekbone, a fractured eye socket, and skull fractures, while the other victim was treated for puncture marks on his head, torso, and buttocks that are consistent with being struck by a bat with nails pounded into it.

The criminal complaint against Glamm suggests the altercation stemmed from a dispute between Larson and another person at the campground involving Larson's wife. The charging document also suggests additional people could be charged in the case.
