Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young Rochester woman is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy.

That’s according to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court on Monday.

The victim reported the alleged sex assault to Rochester police in October. He alleged the assault occurred in March of last year, according to the court document.

19-year-old Makenzie Grace Schmid is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and a count of fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The complaint says the teen boy told police he was at a “trap house” located near the Corncob water tower in southeast Rochester.

He said he was drunk and high on the night of March 13 and that he had fallen asleep in a bedroom at the home. The teen told investigators that he awoke to Schmid sexually assaulting him, according to the court document.

He said he knew the alleged assailant as Kenzie and provided officers with a description of her.

Officers identified the home and showed the victim a photo of Schmid, who matched the description the victim gave. He identified Schmid as the person accused of sexually assaulting him, the complaint says.

A person at the home on the night of the alleged sex assault told police they saw Schmid and the victim asleep on a bed in the home, the charges say.

Schmid is being charged by summons. She’s scheduled to make her first court appearance this Summer.
