
Rochester Police Fentanyl Buys Lead to Drug Charges Against Southeast Minnesota Men
Both cases were filed in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday. The Rochester Police Department conducted both of the investigations that led to the charges.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Controlled buys have led to the filing of drug charges against two southeastern Minnesotans.

Both cases were filed in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday. The Rochester Police Department conducted both of the investigations that led to the charges.
Court documents say the law enforcement-facilitated transactions were to purchase fentanyl.

Rochester Man & Kasson Man Face Drug Charges After Selling Fentanyl in Controlled Buys
61-year-old Bobby Hoskins of Rochester is charged with one count of first-degree drug sales.
The criminal complaint in his case alleges he sold a law enforcement informant 150 M30 pills that tested positive for fentanyl over the course of two controlled buys conducted last August.

38-year-old Michael Brett Vagt is charged with the same crime.
The Kasson man is accused of selling 200 M30 pills that tested positive for fentanyl to a Rochester police informant in April of 2024, according to the criminal complaint.
Both men have been charged via summons. Both Hoskins and Vagt are due to make their first court appearances in the case next Spring.
