
Students Taken to Hospital Following Rural Minnesota School Bus Crash
Cook, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are investigating after a school bus slid off a rural road in northern Minnesota Wednesday morning.

A news release issued by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the bus was the only vehicle involved.
First responders were dispatched to the crash scene shortly after 8 a.m. Nearly three-dozen students were on board at the time of the crash, authorities say.

Two Students Taken to Hospital After School Bus Slides Off Icy Road in Cook, MN
The preliminary investigation indicates the bus was near Northwood School in Cook when it slid off the roadway, struck two trees and came to rest against a light pole that was not knocked down during the crash, the news release says.
There were 31 students on board at the time of the crash, authorities say.
Two of the passengers were taken to a hospital by ambulance. Their injuries are described in the news release as non-life-threatening.
Investigators say icy conditions appeared to have contributed to causing the crash.
Law enforcement personnel remain at the scene and are continuing to investigate as of late Wednesday morning. The State Patrol is assisting the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office with the crash investigation.
